Día de Los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a holiday that's as important to Mexicans as Halloween is for Americans. A mashup of pre-Hispanic and modern traditions, the celebration honors the ancestors and traditions of Mexico. It also inspires a huge parade and costume party filled with sugar skulls and sexy skeletons in the country's capital every year.
