Mexico City's Pride, officially titled the Marcha del Orgullo de la Cuidad de Mexico or simply Marcha Orgullo CDMX, takes place annually at the end of June. It's a large event attended by over 300,000 people from all over Mexico. The Parade begins a few hours before noon at the Angel of Independence and goes on for several hours. It's followed by the after-party at Zocalo which lasts late into the night. Mexico City Pride is one of the country's largest, and downtown turns into a Pride Festival arena. This event is definitely worth the airfare.
